Let’s support America's veterans and their caregivers/spouses by providing them with life and career coaching. Help create a brighter future for all veterans by donating to Stand Beside Them (SBT).

My personal story: My stepfather was a Vietnam Veteran and I know firsthand that this military experience had tremendous impacts on his life and the life of his family even until this day. If he had the type of support that this organization provides there may have been hope for a better life when he returned from Vietnam. Not having proper support had tremendous negative impacts on his life, my life, and the lives of my children.

I have been a volunteer with SBT coaching veterans and their spouses and we have found that coaching from a certified, experienced coach can make a tremendous difference in the life of a transitioning veteran or veteran spouse. Last year alone SBT was able to coach close to 150 veterans and spouses with our 12 session program, and with your help this wonderful 501c3 nonprofit can double our efforts this coming year.

Please help me reach my goal and support this growing organization (founded in 2013) to reach an even greater number of veterans and their spouses and caregivers. Even just a small donation will go a long way to ensuring a brighter future for all veterans!

Some SBT success stories: Karen, an Army veteran, with the help of one of our professional career coaches, completely completely re-worked her resume into a federally-required format, practiced her interview skills, and obtained her dream job at the Veterans Administration. Also,Ivan, a Marine veteran coachee from a small town in the northwest transitioned to academic life as a Columbia University grad student. With the help of his SBT coach, also a former Marine, he learned to network and is thriving in New York City at one of the most highly competitive universities in the country. And Marilyn, a military spouse of a fallen Army hero, struggling with the often overwhelming challenge of raising three adolescent children by herself, was able to receive support from an SBT life coach who provided what the coachee termed "an essential outside perspective" at a very difficult, stressful time. These are only three examples of how SBT helps.

Please join me by contributing to this effort and support our veterans!
