I'm raising funds to help Stand Beside Them (SBT) coach more veterans to the bright futures they deserve! Will you help me with a donation to help those who have sacrificed so much for our country?

Hello friends! Hope you had a great Fourth of July! Some of you may know that I'm very involved with Stand Beside Them (SBT), a 501c3 nonprofit charity which coaches military veterans and their spouses in their transitions from military back to civilian life. I have served on the board of SBT since the organization was founded in 2013 by my good friend Stephanie Richmond. Stephanie started the organization by collecting six enthusiastic certified career and life coaches in 2013 and amazingly, the coaching roster has grown now to 180 coaches in 28 states! All of these coaches volunteer their expertise to veterans, and more are coming aboard every day. I've loved the mission of SBT: to help veterans create the bright futures they deserve, and am thrilled to witness the impact they've had on so many deserving lives. I'm turning to you now to help SBT continue doing their vital work through a donation of any size you are able.

Here's some of Stand Beside Them's accomplishments this past year:

  • SBT added 40 new coaches and 14 of the new coaches come from the military! We're now in 28 states (compared to 22 last year.)
  • SBT has raised its visibility, attracting partnerships with academic (University of Michigan) and corporate entities (Accenture, L'OrealUSA).
  • SBT continued to bring coaches to coach veterans on-site at job fairs in Washington, D.C., Fort Knox, Phoenix, Tucson, NYC with plans to do more around the country.
  • SBT developed a "Corporate Veteran Coaching Program" to help newly-hired veterans adjust to corporate culture.
  • SBT partnered with University of Michigan to coach 50 female veterans.

SBT has great plans for this coming year...to roll out the corporate veteran coaching program in full force; to expand to the 20 remaining states where we still don't have coaches; and to intensify our marketing efforts to reach more veterans than ever before.
