I'm helping raise funds for Stand Beside Them (SBT) to coach more veterans to the bright futures they deserve! Will you help me?

I've been a coach volunteer with Stand Beside Them (SBT) for a year now and its been very rewarding coaching other veterans through the difficult transition back to civilian life. This organization was founded almost six years ago with just a handful of coaches at their launch in NYC, and they've grown now to 175 coaches in 28 states! Forty of the 175 coaches are military veterans like me. The website is: www.standbesidethem.org.

Here's some of Stand Beside Them's accomplishments just this past year:

  • SBT added 40 new coaches on to its roster, and 14 of the new coaches come from the military!
  • SBT has raised its visibility, attracting partnerships with academic (University of Michigan) and corporate entities (Accenture, L'OrealUSA).
  • SBT brought coaches to coach veterans on-site at veteran events in Washington, D.C., Fort Knox, Phoenix, Tucson, and NYC with plans to do more around the country. (in the photo above I joined SBT coaches for Mental Health First Aid Certification in NYC).
  • Recently, SBT developed a "Corporate Veteran Coaching Program" to help newly-hired veterans adjust to corporate culture.

SBT has great plans for this coming year...to roll out the corporate veteran coaching program in full force; to expand to the 20 remaining states where SBT still doesn't have coaches; and to intensify marketing efforts to reach more veterans than ever before.

In order to achieve SBT's goals, we need to turn to people like you who care about veterans and who want our veterans to attain their professional and personal goals. Coaching is invaluable to them and SBT is achieving a major impact that we want to continue!
