Military spouses frequently experience disrupted careers due to relocations, while caregivers often balance significant responsibilities with limited support. Despite these shared challenges, access to personalized, forward-looking support remains limited.
Although every journey is unique, no one should have to navigate these challenges alone.

What We Do
Our mission is to coach and empower America’s military veterans, their spouses and their caregivers, to achieve success at home, at work, and in the community. We believe that when individuals are empowered to move forward with purpose, stronger families, stronger workplaces, and stronger communities follow. We envision a world in which NO veteran will ever feel stuck when returning to civilian life.
Since 2013, Stand Beside Them has facilitated more than 1,100 coaching partnerships through a network of more than 200 professional coaches who, serving military-connected individuals across 46 states and five countries.
Professional coaching provides a proactive, strengths-based approach that helps individuals clarify goals, build confidence, navigate change, and create meaningful paths forward. Every participant is paired with a credentialed professional volunteer coach at no cost, empowering them to define their own goals, overcome obstacles, and build the future they envision.

In addition to one-on-one coaching, we foster connection through our peer community opportunities, helping military-connected individuals build meaningful relationships and local support systems.
